We are seeking an experienced Production Compounder to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our production processes, ensuring that our products are made to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials for product manufacturing.
- Operate and maintain compounding and blending equipment to produce batches according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Read, interpret, and create batch records to ensure accurate production and quality control.
- Perform sampling of raw materials and finished products for quality testing.
- Mix ingredients to create compounds for production, ensuring adherence to formula specifications.
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety and environmental policies.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Production, and R&D, to meet production schedules and objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in blending, compounding, and mixing in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to read and create batch records.
- Proficient in material weighing and sampling.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.
