We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our fast-paced Finance team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant laws and standards. This role will provide you with an opportunity to showcase your accounting prowess, financial acumen, and analytical skills. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals in a challenging and rewarding environment where your contribution will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
2. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
3. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
4. Maintain the general ledger and reconcile account balances, verifying the accuracy of invoicing, payment, and cash management transactions.
5. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
6. Conduct regular financial audits, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
8. Utilize QuickBooks Desktop & Online for various accounting tasks and financial management.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, tax changes, and financial regulations, ensuring the company's financial operations are in line with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Tax Preparation, and Tax Accounting.
4. Proven experience with account reconciliation and financial auditing.
5. Proficiency in using Desktop QuickBooks and QuickBooks Desktop & Online.
6. Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of accounting and finance.
