Responsibilities
As an Accounting Manager, your main duties will include
- Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, forecast future performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Managing the medical accounting process, including the billing and collection of medical fees, processing of medical claims, and reconciliation of medical accounts.
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial performance.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and training to accounting staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role should possess the following qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a significant focus on financial analysis, financial reporting, and medical accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with a particular emphasis on medical accounting.
- Proficient in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
