Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and will be responsible for processing invoices, coding invoices, and vendor communication. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP, SAGE, 3-way matching, purchase orders, and vendor set up.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Code invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
- Set up new vendors and maintain vendor files
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure accurate billing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues
- Assist with month-end closing and accruals
- Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong knowledge of SAP and/or SAGE
- Experience with 3-way matching, purchase orders, and vendor set up
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
