Job Details
You're a hands on technical leaders with a very strong background in SQL, experience data modeling from scratch (end to end) and great at processing large data sets.
In this role you will:
- Lead a group of analytics engineers responsible for bridging the gap between analytics and data engineering functions.
- Ensure the availability of refined, processed data suitable for analysis purposes.
- Develop and uphold coding formats, naming conventions, and version control as part of established best practices.
- Construct and manage dashboards catering to various teams within the company.
- Coordinate both project initiatives and impromptu data retrievals alongside Data Engineers.
Must Have Skills:
- Possess a background in a technical or quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated work experience of 7 - 10 years in analytical or quantitative capacities (you can be coming out of a Sr Manager, Director, VP position, etc. we're not picky on title here)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python at an expert level.
- Openness to exploring and mastering novel technologies and tools, including API integration and dashboarding platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes utilizing SQL or Python.
- Proficiency in generating intricate outputs using any of the following dashboarding tools:
Power BI
TIBCO Spotfire
Tableau
Familiarity with Redshift.
