We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract AP Associate to join our team in in the construction industry. This position will play a significant role in managing our in our accounts payable operations and ensuring our financial obligations are met met in a timely and accurate manner. The Contract AP Associate will work closely with our finance team, vendors, and other departments to maintain financial records, process invoices invoices, and reconcile accounts.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all all aspects of accounts payable operations, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts,, and ensuring payments are made on time and accurately accurately.
2. Maintain vendor relationships by resolving any discrepancies or issues in a prompt and professional manner.
3. Assist Assist with month-end closing procedures, including including including the preparation of financial reports and statements.
4. Util Utilize Great Great Plains software software to to manage financial financial financial financial data data and generate reports.
5. Use advanced advanced Microsoft Microsoft Excel skills skills to to analyze financial financial data data data, create spreadsheets,, and prepare reports reports.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of of financial data and and adherence adherence to company policies and procedures.
7. Assist Assist with internal and external audits audits by by providing necessary financial records and and documentation documentation.
8. Continually evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounts payable operations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an AP Clerk role or similar position.
2. Proficiency in Plains software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
3. Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of accounts payable operations and and general accounting principles.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and create reports.
6. Strong communication skills with the the ability to effectively interact with with vendors and various departments within the organization.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism with the ability to to handle confidential information.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or or related field is preferred.
