Are you a financial wizard with a knack for numbers and an eye for detail? We are on the hunt for a Permanent AP & Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will manage both our accounts payable and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance at all times.

Responsibilities :
As an AP & Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment.
2. Administering bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculation of hours, deductions, and benefits.
3. Processing ACH transactions and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
4. Preparing and submitting 1099 forms for all applicable vendors.
5. Handling employee expense reports, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely reimbursement.
6. Assisting in the administration of the company’s 401K plan.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
8. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable or payroll.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the AP & Payroll Specialist position, candidates must meet the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing both accounts payable and payroll functions.
2. Proven experience with 401K administration, bi-weekly payroll processing, invoicing, ACH transactions, 1099 forms, and expense reports.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
5. Experience with payroll and accounting software.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
