Our legal team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our litigation department. The successful candidate will work closely with our partners and senior attorneys to represent our clients in a variety of litigation matters in premise liability, product liability, construction litigation, and/or labor law
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions
- Manage case files and provide regular updates to clients and senior attorneys
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex cases
- Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolutions
- Attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as required
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in New York
- 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in civil defense, premise liability, product liability, construction litigation, and/or labor law
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and satisfaction
