Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in the areas of Matrimonial Law and Family Law.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate and draft agreements, including prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and divorce settlements.
- Attend meetings with clients and other professionals, such as mediators and therapists.
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the legal process.
- Manage your own caseload and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and legal developments in the areas of Matrimonial Law and Family Law.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing Matrimonial and Family Law.
- Strong knowledge of Matrimonial Law and Family Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
