Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Audit Manager to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the audit process and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute audit plans in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Lead and supervise audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits
- Identify and assess risks and controls, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Review and analyze financial statements and related documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and standards and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Government Audit is a plus
