We are currently looking for a dynamic Automation Engineer to join our team!
Our Automation Engineer is responsible for establishing and streamlining automated processes and procedures through our 5 facilities. The Engineering and Production teams will lean on the Automation Engineer’s expertise to manage and implement automated processes for welding, machining, and assembly. You will be responsible for leading and developing automation initiatives across the business.
This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
- Designing and testing automation equipment and processes.
- Programming new and existing automated equipment.
- Identifying quality issues and document improvements.
- Eliminating defects and errors with product and processes.
- Collaborating across businesses.
- Lead the business as the MRP expert (MIE Trak Pro).
- Develop and manage MRP reports and reporting.
Education/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or similar.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in Automation Engineering within a high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing, or assembly business.
- Solid engineering experience within a successful Equipment Startup, as well as Productivity Improvement projects.
- Proven track record of implementing and executing automation.
Preferred
- Experience implementing new automation systems.
- Experience in strategy development and execution.
- Strong Engineering acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others, including leading project teams.
