Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement building automation systems (BAS) to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of HVAC systems.
- Develop and maintain graphical user interfaces for BAS, using tools such as Tridium, Niagara, n4, and AX.
- Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders, to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they understand how to operate and maintain the BAS.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in building automation and incorporate them into your work.
- Perform regular system audits and preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of BAS.
- Document all work performed, including system programming, configurations, and modifications, for future reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in BAS programming, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficient in HVAC systems, controls, building automation systems (BAS), and building management systems (BMS).
- Hands-on experience with programming tools such as Tridium, Niagara, n4, and AX.
- Strong knowledge of graphical design and programming for BAS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry technologies and trends.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in HVAC, controls, or building automation systems would be an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
