Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our fast-paced Finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be tasked with improving business processes, implementing financial software solutions, and driving innovation in our financial operations. You will be working closely with stakeholders across the business, from finance to IT, to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about using data to drive business decisions and has a strong background in finance, SQL, and business analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
2. Utilize MS SQL Server to extract, analyze, and interpret data related to business performance.
3. Develop and implement financial software solutions to improve business processes and drive efficiency.
4. Conduct regular reviews of business processes and develop strategies for improvement.
5. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining findings and making recommendations for improvements.
6. Liaise between the finance and IT departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in financial technology.
8. Assist in the design and implementation of new financial systems and processes.
9. Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. At least 10 years of experience in a business analyst role within the finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and manipulate large data sets.
4. Excellent understanding of financial processes and systems.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Proven experience in implementing financial software solutions and improving business processes.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
10. A proactive and innovative approach, with a passion for using data to drive business decisions.
