Job Details
Position Overview: The CFO is part of our executive leadership team and oversees the planning, implementation, and management of all financial activities. This includes but is not limited to business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and accounting.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee long-term budget planning, cost management, asset management and investment management in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan
- Participate in key decisions with other C-Suite team members pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution
- Oversee the organization’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting and auditing. Monitor operational cash flow and cash forecasts for the organization
- Interpret and apply State, Federal, and County regulations governing fiscal policies and procedures. Develop and implement financial management procedures in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and non-profit accounting best practices
- Participate as an active member of the Board Finance Committee to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections
- Supervise the Director of Finance to ensure that all accounting systems and functions meet the requirements of applicable reporting standards and government agencies
- Ensure that financial reporting is accurate and timely
- Other Duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field
- Senior Financial Management experience with budget over $20M
- Healthcare or Medical Industry Experience
- Non-Profit Experience
- US GAAP Knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- CPA
- Non-Profit CFO / Head of Finance Experience
- HUD Subsidized housing experience
