We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil CADD Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly professional and collaborative team, where you will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings for civil engineering projects. You will be an integral part of our team, working on a variety of projects that require a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Civil 3D and CADD software to create, modify, and manage detailed civil engineering designs and plans.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering codes and standards to ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
3. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications and requirements.
4. Manage and update x-refs, raster, and vector files to maintain accurate and up-to-date design data.
5. Assist in drafting and revising plans, profiles, cross sections, and details based on preliminary concepts, sketches, and notes.
6. Prepare grading and drainage plans, and perform volume calculations as required.
7. Collaborate with the team to resolve design or drawing issues and ensure projects are completed within the stipulated time frame.
8. Maintain a well-organized and updated database of project drawings and documents.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Civil CADD Designer or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proficient in using Civil 3D, CADD, and other relevant software.
3. Solid understanding of engineering codes and standards.
4. Experience with x-refs, raster, vector, and drafting.
5. Knowledge of grading and drainage design principles.
6. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot and rectify errors.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
9. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
