We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical skills and creativity to design and manage projects that shape our built environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed design plans for residential and commercial land development projects using AutoCAD, Civil3D. and HydraCAD.
- Knowledge of site civil design and land development, including grading, drainage, stormwater, E&S control, utilities, and permit applications.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and implement sustainable design principles to minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, and other specialists.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all project designs comply with industry standards, government regulations, and client specifications.
- Continuously monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that arise.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D. and/or HydraCAD.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental engineering, including conducting environmental impact assessments.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred not not required.
