Our company is seeking a highly motivated Cellular Concrete Estimator and Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Cellular Concrete Estimator and Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and estimating Cellular Concrete work scope for Civil-type projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a willingness to learn about the lightweight Cellular Concrete business.
Responsibilities:
Search online Job Boards for potential Cellular concrete work scope. (Largely Civil type Projects)
Download and review project plans and specifications to confirm qualified scope.
Estimate quantity of lightweight Cellular Concrete (flowable fill) based on fill type (Abandonment, annular space fill, wall backfill, etc).
Prepare rough draft of Quotation for scope of work.
Submit estimate and quote to Sales Engineer for review and discussion.
Track bid dates and low bidders for projects quoted.
Manage electronic files for projects to be reviewed, quoted, and won.
Learn aspects of lightweight Cellular Concrete business.
Assist Project installations on sight, including mobilization, installation, quality control, daily work orders, and clean up.
Assist in research and trials of new equipment and mix designs.
Attend and complete online and in-person training sessions on industry topics and applications.
Complete all other manageable tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in Cellular Concrete work scope estimation and project coordination.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and AutoCAD.
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
