We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and hands-on support to our CNC operations. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation on all aspects of CNC machining, including machine setup, tooling, and programming.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Design and implement new machining processes and techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Provide hands-on support to our CNC operations, including troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues.
- Train and mentor junior machinists, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance team skills and performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and optimize CNC machining processes.
- Ensure all CNC operations comply with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong experience in CNC setup, including machine calibration and programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior machinists.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related field is preferred.
