As a CNC Programmer - you will work with machinery which cuts raw materials into functional items.
You will be responsible for interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and setting up machines to produce the component outlined in the program.
You will perform test runs and make adjustments until the resulting product meets blueprint specifications.
You will also be charged with performing machine maintenance and cleaning.
We are looking to hire a full time CNC Programmer who comes with at least 5-10 years of experience as an aerospace process engineer of complex components. Must have minimum 5 Years of Solidworks Experience and can quickly build 3-D models from 2-D drawings; prefer the candidate is proficient with MasterCam software
In the CNC Programmer role - you will analyze, evaluate and interrogate blueprint and 3-D CAD models to derive the sequence of manufacturing processes required to machine, coat, plate, assemble and inspect complex, close tolerance aerospace parts, while meeting all design specifications and quality requirements.

- Applies experiential and academic knowledge to develop lean manufacturing process for machining, outside special process and assembly.
- During new product introduction, collaborate with outside process Suppliers ensuring all specifications are achieved.
- Develops manufacturing Standard Work; coordinates the creation of operation and inspection sheets;
- Designs and coordinates the manufacture of machining fixtures; suggests specific cutting approaches; designs special cutting tooling.
- Acts as a project lead for jobs assigned; collaborates with the Manufacturing Team to meet cost and schedule milestones;
- As requested, assists with estimating then manufacture of products.
- Contributes to accomplishing sundry engineering activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Must understand Customer PO and design specifications and requirements.
- Clear understanding of common industry specifications (material, coating/plating, NDT, etc.)
- Clear understanding of complex aerospace blueprints, technical charts and specification sheets.
- Ability to learn and use Company ERP software
- Expert in GD&T
- Experience working in AS9100 and ISO environment
