We are seeking a Collections Assistant to assist the Credit Union areas in securing Credit Union assets and protecting the Credit Union from financial loss. Processes credit insurance coverage, as well as collateral protection, and handles title work for secured loans. Maintains document management system for the Credit Union. Complies with all Credit Union rules and regulations, including BSA/AML, and Loan and Fair Lending Policies.
Skills you need:
1-3 of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED.
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, computer skills.
An ability to lift or pull up to 25 pounds (files, file cabinets, file boxes, etc.) Some travel required. Financial institution office environment requiring the use of standard office equipment including computer, fax, copier, scanner, telephone, etc.
