We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance Specialist
Your mission is to assist the Director of Compliance in their efforts to ensure that our organziation adheres to all professional standards, internal stands, best business practices, and maintains compliance with all pertinent state and federal laws.
Effectively, you are both managing risk in a pragmatic way, while also making sure our organziation maintains its commitment to a higher ethical standard with the express purpose of maintaining our reputation within the community we serve and Boston at large.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree Required; Masters preferred in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Care Policy, etc. or Juris Doctor.
2. Comprehensive working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, and regulatory guidelines applicable to non-profit healthcare / human service organizations in Massachusetts
3. Direct experience with health care and human service compliance is needed
4. CHC or CHPC Required within 18 months of hire.
Responsibilities:
Implementing system-wide programs to ensure compliance, conducting research, resolving compliance and privacy-related issues, contributing to the development of the Compliance Work Plan, creating training materials and monitoring tools, and reviewing and revising system-wide policies and procedures.
