Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the timely completion of the project.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is progressing according to the plans and specifications.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards and within budget.
Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities, including documentation of changes, requests for information, and other correspondence.
Monitor and manage project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, and report regularly on project financial status.
Ensure that all project-related documentation is properly organized and filed for future reference.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction management or supervision.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage resources effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in outdoor environments and in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and operate heavy equipment as necessary.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
