Job Details
What you will be doing:
You will be working on projects from start to finish. Starting with reviewing and interpreting customer specifications, both technical and business. You will complete the project through the completion of software at customer site with a Factory Acceptance test. This requires face to face engagement with clients and up to 30% travel to local customer sites. You will analyze customer site, design and produce Bill of Materials, Control Panel Arrangement Drawings, Wiring Schematics for review by customer. You will work with Control Enclosure Design, Short Circuit Analysis, Cabinet BTU Heath Loss Calculations, design Cabinet Grounding and Bonding Circuits. Project applications will include AC/DC motors multi-axis motion, sensors, controllers, safety circuit components, local area networks, and equipment related to vision inspection. Develop and configure PLC, HMI, VFD, test control panels. Participate in estimation and proposal writing.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS.) from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of current NEC, NFPA 70E, UL508a, UL698a and UL 1203 are essential documents and standards to know or acquire to be successful in this position.
