Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the company including inventory, manufacturing, distribution, and cost accounting.
• Implement and maintain all necessary financial controls and ensure their effectiveness.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the month end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies across all aspects of the business.
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• Communicate financial metrics to senior management and provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner.
• Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years of progressive leaders
• Strong working knowledge of detailed, inventory, manufacturing, distribution, cost accounting, GAAP, and month end close.
• Proven experience in finance management and financial forecasting.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with particular strength in Excel.
