Manage a team of financial professionals to maximize profitability, to protect the Company’s assets, and to ensure adherence to policies, and work closely with senior management.

Job Details

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure effective systems, procedures, and staff to maintain accurate books of account and other financial records, to ensure accurate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Manage general accounting functions, including inventory, cost, fixed assets accounting, etc.
  • Report and interpret financial results and performance measurement against budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to Corporate and Division financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform cost and financial analysis as required.
  • Provide analysis and technical guidance in financial and cost matters to operations managers and department heads.
  • Identify profit opportunities and assist in the implementation of profit improvement projects.
  • Ensure effective financial management in offshore plants.
  • Control capital expenditures and perform financial analysis and justification of capital and major expense proposals.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting required. CPA, CMA, and/or MBA is preferred.
  • Six (6) to ten (10) years accounting and financial management experience, at least five (5) years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a large manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to develop, implement and maintain effective financial policies and practices in a global manufacturing business.
  • Must have superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a clear understanding of manufacturing operations, product cost and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
