Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take their career to the next level and make a significant impact in the finance industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization and ensuring that all financial reports are accurate and compliant with GAAP standards.

*This role is 100% In-Office*

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly financial statement process, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information
• Oversee the financial reporting process, including preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing recommendations for improvements
• Perform accounting reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations
• Manage the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management, including preparing financial forecasts, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations for improvements
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• 7 years of experience
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with monthly financial statement preparation and financial reporting
