As a Permanent Controller in the medical industry, you will play a critical role in the financial management of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial acumen and leadership skills in a dynamic, growing field. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, including budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organization. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and forecasting.
2. Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
4. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
5. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies and make recommendations for financial decision-making.
6. Use advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to perform financial analysis, develop financial models, and present data.
7. Review and understand technical forms and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
8. Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar role in the medical industry.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex financial models and perform advanced data analysis.
4. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proven experience with budget development, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
6. Strong understanding of technical forms and financial reports.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
