We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our indsutrial manufacturing company. The ideal Controller candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the firm's financial and budgetary operations, including accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management. The candidate will also be expected to leverage their expertise in EPICOR and EPICOR ERP systems for financial management and forecasting purposes. This Controller position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of financial modeling and budget variance, who can contribute to our firm's financial growth and stability.
Responsibilities for the Controller:
1. Oversee the firm's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the firm's strategic goals.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Manage the firm's budget, including forecasting and monitoring of revenues and expenses.
5. Implement and maintain EPICOR and EPICOR ERP systems for financial management purposes.
6. Conduct financial modeling to support decision-making and strategic planning.
7. Manage financial risk, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, partners, and stakeholders.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
10. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the Controller:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the legal industry.
3. Proven experience with financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk management.
4. Proficiency in EPICOR and EPICOR ERP systems.
5. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budget variance.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
