We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop control systems for various manufacturing processes, utilizing PLC programming and other relevant technologies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for control systems.
3. Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.
4. Develop and maintain electrical motor control circuits to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
5. Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and resolve any issues in control systems.
6. Collaborate with technicians and operators to provide technical support and guidance on control system operations.
7. Monitor and analyze control system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in control system technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all control system designs and implementations.
10. Document control system designs, modifications, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming, with hands-on experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical motor control circuits and their integration with control systems.
5. Familiarity with HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems and their integration with PLCs.
6. Proven ability to design and implement control systems for complex manufacturing processes.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in control systems.
8. Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to control systems.
9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
