Job Details
Currently seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to join a full-service building automation provider in the Omaha area. This role is responsible for installing (commissioning), troubleshooting, repairing, and programming environmental control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure HVAC control systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC control systems, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
- Program and reprogram HVAC control systems to meet specific requirements and optimize performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC control systems and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal operation.
- Calibrate sensors and other components of HVAC control systems for accurate readings and efficient energy utilization.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC control systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all HVAC control system activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MUST HAVE:
- 1-2 years’ experience in Building Automation / HVAC Controls
- Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Honeywell, or others
NICE TO HAVE:
- Tridium Niagara
- Associate’s degree in related engineering/technology field or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
