We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Attorney with a strong background in engineering industry specific legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a proven track record in corporate law, business litigation, contract negotiation, employment law, and real estate transactional law. This role will play a critical part in our organization's legal department, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters pertinent to the engineering industry.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts including employment agreements, vendor contracts, and real estate transactions.
- Represent the company in any business litigation, efficiently handling motions and ensuring the company's interests are protected.
- Advise on legal aspects of the company’s strategic plans and projects, ensuring legal compliance and limiting risk exposure.
- Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
- Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
- Research, anticipate, and guard the company against legal risks.
- Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Structure, draft, and review reports and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney.
- Proven experience in the engineering industry is a must.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- Demonstrated background in business litigation, contract negotiation, employment law, and real estate transactional law.
- Familiarity with First Party Property laws and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing legal cases from inception to completion.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
- Current license to practice law.
