A bit about us:
We are in search of an Electrical Engineer with Control System experience to join us immediately! Our ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE), experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, CAD skills, experience with electrical codes as well as NFPA70E codes, along with knowledge of plant power distribution. This position is responsible for assisting Maintenance Technicians troubleshoot machine control issues. Also, this position will be responsible for managing machine upgrades. We are looking to start off the new year with this position filled!

Facilities
o Understanding of engineering concepts (electrical or mechanical base on job emphasis)
o Assists with testing and validation facility and manufacturing infrastructure designs and systems.
o Assists with engineering calculations to support facility and manufacturing infrastructure engineering work.
o Reviews technical plans, drawings and specifications for manufacturing infrastructure engineering work.
Controls
o Understanding of electrical engineering concepts
o Assists with testing and validation of machine instrumentation with the controls package.
o Assist with the integration and development of team IT resources related to engineering functions such as PLC/machine control, HMI function and edge device use.
o Reviews technologies to be used for future applications and extensions of current architecture.
Mechanical
o Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
o Assists with testing and validation mechanical machine designs and systems.
o Assist with engineering calculations to support mechanical engineering work.
o Reviews technical plans, drawings and specifications for mechanical engineering work.
Electrical
o Understanding of electrical engineering concepts
o Assists with testing and validation electrical machine designs and systems.
o Assists with engineering calculations to support electrical engineering work.
o Reviews technical plans, drawings and specifications for electrical engineering work.
Industrial
o Understanding of industrial/manufacturing engineering principles and practices.
o Assists in conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, assists to develop and implement optimized product flow.
o Assists in validating IE requirements with multiple automation integrators and verifies that automation solution/proposals aligned with business strategies using Just-In-Time/Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
o Assists in collecting/analyzing data and works with the Sr. IEs to validate current state processes/flows to establish an accurate model of the operation of a system. Learns how to create Discrete Event Simulation (DES) baselines and collaborates with the Sr. IE to propose/validate future automation solutions that improve cycle time, WIP, bottlenecks, throughput, capacity, resource utilization, and production rate changes of complex production systems.
Automation
o Understanding of electrical engineering, controls, robotics, and/or automation
o Assists with developing test plans to burndown risk for automation projects and set requirements for FATs and SATs.
o Assists with testing and validation automation systems.
o Assists in reviewing technical drawings, plans, proposals, RFQs, RFQ responses, and specifications for automation work.
o Assists with estimating, developing, and deploying automation technology solutions.
o Understanding of electrical engineering and or computer science concepts
o Assists with testing and validation IoT systems.
o Assists with developing and deploying IoT technology solutions.
