Job Details
- Provide assistance within both Costing and Financial areas of the accounting department with work on projects to improve systems and procedures.
- Assist team in ensuring all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial regulations
- Review postings within the G/L for accurate accounts and costs at time of receipt
- Provides accounting support for review of product margins and costs for existing or new products
- Participate in the annual Physical inventory or Cycle Counting process
- Assist with ad-hoc questions / projects as needed
Must Haves/Nice to Have:
- Degree in accounting preferred
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Cost Accounting Experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel including Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
- Strong communication skills
