We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cost Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our company. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing key insights to drive profitability and growth. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including the establishment and maintenance of cost standards, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
3. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand and analyze production costs, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to improve cost-effectiveness.
4. Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including the tracking, valuation, and depreciation of assets.
5. Develop and implement effective cost accounting systems and processes to enhance financial visibility and control.
6. Provide financial guidance and support to management, assisting in the decision-making process by providing relevant cost information and analysis.
7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
8. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights on cost trends and potential risks.
9. Continually assess and improve cost accounting practices, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or agriculture industry.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting and fixed asset accounting.
4. Proven experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across the organization.
7. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
8. Proficiency in using accounting software and other business systems.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
