Job Details
- Provide manufacturing support by addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and recommending upgrades for Systec Plant and Equipment.
- Design parts handling conveyors using standard practices, overseeing the entire process from concept to manufacturing and testing.
- Develop project-related designs, including schematics, layouts, and packing lists.
- Make recommendations to management regarding tooling, software, equipment, and personnel acquisitions.
- Manage the workload of the Engineering Department, ensuring effective communication with management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Offer support to field service technicians and create packing lists for various adjustments and warranty claims.
- Conduct project management activities, including coordinating packing list releases and updating project progression lists and customer folders.
- Communicate with customers, provide operational assistance, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Verify completed Engineering Design Requests (EDRs) and perform quality control checks on equipment.
- Update project checklists, customer folders, and support manuals as required.
What you need for this role:
- 3 years of design experience with electro-mechanical material handling systems
- Experience with 3D modeling using Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
