Job Details
We are currently in search of a passionate and highly skilled Permanent Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the manufacturing industry, with a strong emphasis on automotive design. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and enhancing our product line, and will play a crucial part in driving our company's success. The successful candidate will be adept at using Autocad and Siemens NX, and will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Work closely with the product management team to understand and define product requirements.
- Develop innovative design solutions to meet product and customer requirements.
- Create and modify detailed drawings using Autocad and Siemens NX software.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and can be manufactured efficiently.
- Conduct regular design reviews and present your work to cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of design-related production issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in the automotive industry.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, striving for innovation and enhancements in all aspects of the job.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the manufacturing industry, preferably in automotive design.
- Proficiency in Autocad and Siemens NX, or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and production design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
- Superior technical expertise and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
