We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Director of Manufacturing and Plant Operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process from conception to completion, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from design to product completion, ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
• Implement and manage new manufacturing processes and technologies, including additive manufacturing and CNC.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee general assembly operations and quality inspection processes to ensure all products meet our rigorous quality standards.
• Conduct engineering analysis to identify potential areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with other departments, including design, sales, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch of new products.
• Monitor and manage plant performance metrics, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior manufacturing management role, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Proven experience with business process improvement, additive manufacturing, CNC, general assembly, quality inspection, and engineering analysis.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends and technologies.
