We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IT. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic leader who is driven by the challenge of shaping the digital future of our company. As a Director of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and use of IT systems, ensuring our operations and communication networks run smoothly, and implementing new IT strategies and solutions to improve performance and efficiency. You will be the key person to drive our digital transformation and ensure our IT infrastructure is aligned with our business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategy, aligning it with the business objectives of the organization.
• Oversee the management of our IT systems, including our Acumatica ERP platform, ensuring their optimum performance and security.
• Lead the IT team in delivering exceptional IT support and services, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage the company's cloud-first approach, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud services.
• Oversee the management and operation of Fortinet Firewalls and end-to-end WAN solution with SD-WAN, ensuring maximum network uptime and security.
• Implement and manage Payroll/HCM systems, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and grow.
• Develop and manage IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure IT compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Lead the digital transformation of the company, driving innovation and improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in the construction, low voltage, life safety, or security and communications industries.
• Proven experience with Payroll/HCM systems, Cloud First Approach, Fortinet Firewalls, and end-to-end WAN solution with SD-WAN topologies.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
• Preferred experience with Acumatica ERP, or with similar cloud ERP platforms with an emphasis the construction industry and project management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong strategic and business acumen with the ability to align IT strategy with business goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• IT certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP will be an advantage.
