Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet the company's standards for quality and compliance
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new vendors and suppliers, and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
- Develop and maintain a vendor qualification process, ensuring that all vendors are qualified and approved before engaging in business with the
company
- Develop and maintain a scope control process, ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the procurement budget, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted within budgetary constraints
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with industry
standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement management, contract management, vendor qualification, and negotiation
- Familiar with the construction industry
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve procurement issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to procurement and contract management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
