As the Director of Software Development your role is to lead and manage a team of software developers in building innovative, industry leading, financial technology payments products. The position will develop a strategy for the team to meet the company's development goals and objectives, and to improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally. The position will plan and oversee the successful implementation of all in-house and externally developed software, systems, and mobile applications, as well as the implementation of this strategy. The position will be responsible for the quality of delivery, and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with the company strategy.

As the Director of Software Development your role is to lead and manage a team of software developers in building innovative, industry leading, financial technology payments products. The position will develop a strategy for the team to meet the company's development goals and objectives, and to improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally. The position will plan and oversee the successful implementation of all in-house and externally developed software, systems, and mobile applications, as well as the implementation of this strategy. The position will be responsible for the quality of delivery, and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with the company strategy.
- Establish robust standards in software development and integration.
- Prioritize, budget, and allocate projects, products, resources in line with business priorities.
- Monitor and analyze competitors to make sure our products features stay cutting edge.
- Drive overall architecture and define application security guidelines
- Work closely with the business and product owners in an iterative manner
- Lead front end development and solution ideation
- Implement and manage a continuous development / continuous integration
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar field
- Some experience or strong interest in Crypto/Stablecoins/DeFi/Web3
- 7 years hands-on experience in modern software development practices
- 5 years with React Native, React, JavaScript, Postgres Vue.js, Node.js, Xamarin.Forms, C#, Java, .Net
- 3 years as a team leader with multiple languages, frameworks and runtimes from front end to back end
