Are you passionate about creating, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical equipment and systems, including power distribution and machine control design.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement innovative electrical systems and designs to meet manufacturing and production requirements.
2. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
3. Maintain, test, and improve electrical instruments and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
4. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications.
5. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of large-scale projects.
6. Conduct research and analysis to come up with feasible and cost-effective design proposals for electrical systems and products.
7. Program and implement PLC systems for automated controls.
8. Comply with all industry standards and regulations while upholding the highest levels of safety and reliability.
9. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
10. Provide training and supervision to junior engineers and other technical staff.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in electrical systems design, PLC programming, electrical equipment maintenance, circuit design, power distribution, and electrical testing.
4. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
5. Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, components, and devices.
6. Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
7. Proficient in using design and calculation software.
8. Strong communication and team-working skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
