Our manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Contract Electro Mechanical Designer to join our team. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical products and systems that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Excel, Projects, and Support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electro-mechanical products and systems that meet customer requirements
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets using Microsoft Excel and Projects
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Perform design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and functionality
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, drawings, and bill of materials
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during product development and manufacturing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in the government/federal industry or company that's regulated.
- 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical design and development
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Projects, and Support
- Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and components
- Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
