Our client is seeking an ERP Programmer to join our IT team.
Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.
• Five (5) years of programming experience.
• Preferably skilled in Oracle PeopleSoft ERP and IBM Maximo.
• Experience with Oracle database platforms.
• Proficient in report development tools (e.g., Crystal, nVision, BIRT).
• Familiarity with integration tools or middleware.
• Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards (e.g., PeopleTools, VB.net, XML).
• Project management experience is helpful.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

• Successfully executed implementations, upgrades, and integrations of vendor-provided information systems, including Oracle's PeopleSoft and IBM's Maximo
• Maintenance Management and Supply Chain products.
• Played a key role in the timely design and delivery of architecture, strategic planning, implementation, performance optimization, availability, maintenance, success, and adoption of software.
• Developed and reviewed business requirements, analyzed data and metadata requirements, and produced technical documentation for software.
• Designed and executed comprehensive data conversion, receiving guidance from senior-level programmers.
• Developed custom components for module enhancements, troubleshooting and resolving application issues with senior programmers' guidance.
• Implemented data verification and testing methods for software and established change control and testing processes for software modifications.
• Developed, tested, and implemented new reports, portals, schemas, and other items related to reporting services.
• Designed and implemented reports based on user specifications, serving as the technical subject matter expert for company-owned software supported by IT.
• Defined short-term PeopleSoft roadmap and long-term PeopleSoft strategy, ensuring alignment with the Technology Roadmap and the current system architecture.
• Provided feedback on future software enhancements and ensured efficient and effective PeopleSoft solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Assisted in supporting multiple modules within the PeopleSoft/Maximo applications suite (HCM, SCM, and Financials).
• Collaborated within a team, interacting with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis, and draft conceptual design.
• Created technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements.
• Designed, coded, and tested computer programs/processes using ERP development environments and the vendor development toolset.
• Assessed the impact of PeopleSoft updates, proposing effective application strategies.
• Collaborated with users and IT members to troubleshoot reported problems, identified causes, and designed resolutions, implementing corrections and customizing software.
• Led discussions and presented software recommendations to management for review and approval.
• Provided direction to less experienced programmers and performed other assigned duties.
