Job Details
Our Estimators play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. You will calculate the costs associated with commercial ground up projects.
Your deep understanding of construction processes, coupled with your attention to detail, will be instrumental in ensuring accurate estimates.
We specialize in providing end-to-end construction services, in self-storage, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and multifamily sectors.
Responsibilities :
Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for estimation.
Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying project details.
Cost Calculation :
Analyze data to compute costs accurately.
Client Communication :
Collaborate with insurance adjusters, and subcontractors to refine estimates.
Provide clear explanations of cost breakdowns to clients.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure estimates align with our commitment to excellence.
Review and validate data to minimize discrepancies.
Technology Utilization :
Leverage software tools (such as Destini or HCSS HeavyBid) for efficient estimation.
Stay updated on industry advancements.
Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably with exposure to ground-up construction projects.
Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
Excellent knowledge of research methodology, data analysis, and estimation metrics.
Comfortable with numbers and technology.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
