We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Facilities Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about PLC, automation, programming, hydraulics, machine layout, maintenance systems, computerized maintenance management systems, facilities management, building maintenance, health & safety, preventive maintenance, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our production equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As our Facilities Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
2. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
3. Utilizing PLC and automation skills to enhance and streamline production processes.
4. Designing and optimizing machine layouts for maximum productivity and safety.
5. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
6. Managing computerized maintenance management systems for efficient tracking and scheduling of maintenance activities.
7. Collaborating with various departments to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
8. Participating in the planning and execution of building maintenance projects.
9. Continuously analyzing and improving maintenance systems and procedures for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
10. Providing technical support and training to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Profound knowledge of PLC, automation, programming, hydraulics, machine layout, and maintenance systems.
4. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
5. Strong understanding of facilities management, building maintenance, health & safety, preventive maintenance, and equipment maintenance.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong technical skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facilities.
11. A valid professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
