We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Factory Production Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing sector, with a particular emphasis on ingredients, continuous improvement, chemicals, CNC equipment, transportation & containers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the production process, from the receipt of raw materials to the delivery of the final product.
2. Ensure that production is cost-effective and meets quality standards.
3. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
4. Manage the use of raw materials, including ingredients, chemicals, and aluminum.
5. Operate and maintain CNC equipment, dollies, and other machinery.
6. Coordinate transportation and warehousing of products, including ground support and container management.
7. Oversee the production of specialized items, such as turbofans, engine parts, and ammunition containers.
8. Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and ISO 9000/AS9100 standards.
9. Perform cost analysis and change management to optimize production processes.
10. Manage relationships with suppliers and oversee warehouse management.
11. Coordinate receiving, production planning, and operations management processes.
12. Lead process engineering efforts to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including ingredients, chemicals, CNC equipment, and transportation.
4. Experience with dollies, containers, ground support, turbofans, engine parts, and ammunition containers.
5. Familiarity with aviation regulations and ISO 9000/AS9100 standards.
6. Proven experience in cost analysis and change management.
7. Strong understanding of aluminum and plastics production processes.
8. Experience in supplier and warehouse management, receiving, production planning, and operations management.
9. Proficiency in process engineering and continuous improvement strategies.
10. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
