Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion:
- Bachelors of Accounting or Finance required
- New graduate to 3 years related experience in manufacturing required
- Experience with an integrated ERP system and data warehouse applications would be a plus
This position reports to the Finance Manager of Cost Accounting and Operations Analysis and will provide technical accounting, and financial reporting support.
- Provide support for annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and cost analysis for the leadership team of a manufacturing company.
- Develop key performance metrics and variance reporting to identify major opportunities for improving operations across multiple divisions.
- Lead policies for standard cost accounting and annual cost rollups.
- Coordinate inventory counts at various warehouse facilities.
- Perform analysis and reporting to assist production, supply chain, and logistics departments.
- Own capital budgeting process, tracking capital expenditures, and post-investment analysis.
- Help upgrade financial systems to streamline reporting, improve analysis tools, and provide better data to stakeholders.
- Support monthly financial close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, and data uploads into reporting software.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Lead special projects to improve business processes and analytical capabilities.
- Strong systems skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, Hyperion or AS400 is a plus
