We are seeking a dynamic and highly-analytical FP&A Analyst to join our scientific industry team. As a Permanent FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in the strategic decision-making processes within the company. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This position will provide a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business from a financial perspective and to contribute to our growth and success.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Analyze financial data and create financial strategies for decision support.
3. Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.
4. Balance multiple projects and collaborate with teams to achieve corporate objectives.
5. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
6. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
7. Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related field, preferably in the scientific industry.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial statements and accounting records.
5. Exceptional knowledge of forecasting methods and data analysis.
6. Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
7. Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software applications.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
