Job Details
Requirements:
2-6 years of experience in government contracts and procurement law
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in or eligible for prompt admission into the District of Columbia
Strong analytical, research and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a variety of federal procurement law matters, including bid protests, requests for equitable adjustment and claims, FAR compliance, teaming agreements and subcontracts, the False Claims Act, and/or other investigations related to federal procurement law
Assist with the federal small business programs, including the 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, and/or HUBZone programs
Conduct legal research and analysis, draft pleadings and other legal documents, and participate in negotiations and dispute resolution
Maintain and expand client relationships through effective communication, client development and business development activities
Stay current with industry trends and changes in the law
