Responsibilities:
As an HVAC/R Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC/R systems throughout the facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency at all times.
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC/R system malfunctions, using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
3. Regularly inspecting HVAC/R systems and their components (e.g., air handlers, chillers, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and to preemptively identify potential problems.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to understand and execute work requirements.
5. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including OSHA 10, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
6. Contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and ensuring all work is carried out in line with them.
7. Providing technical assistance and guidance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Tech or HVAC/R Technician.
2. A valid Refrigeration License and EPA Universal Certification.
3. Proven experience with electrical HVAC systems.
4. Proficiency in reading and evaluating blueprints and specifications.
5. A solid understanding of safety regulations and a proven track record of adhering to them, including OSHA 10.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
